Terms of Service
By using 6ixwatches.ca or submitting a watch through our form, you agree to the terms below.
1. What we do
6ixwatches evaluates, buys, trades, and consigns pre-owned luxury timepieces in the Greater Toronto Area. We are an independent buyer — we are not authorized dealers for any brand mentioned on this site.
2. Estimates are not binding offers
Any number, range, or quote you receive before we physically inspect and authenticate your watch is an estimate only. A final offer is made in person after we verify:
- Authenticity (case, movement, dial, bracelet).
- Condition versus what was described in the submission.
- Completeness — box, papers, extra links, service history.
3. Authenticity
You represent that the watch you’re offering is authentic and legally yours to sell. If a watch is determined at inspection to be inauthentic, misrepresented, or encumbered (stolen, leased, pledged, etc.), we will decline the transaction and may be required to notify the appropriate authorities.
4. Meeting and payment
- Meetings take place at a secure, neutral location — most commonly a bank branch of your choosing.
- Cash offers are paid same-day on acceptance by bank draft, wire transfer, Interac e-Transfer (subject to daily limits), or cash.
- Consignment arrangements are governed by a separate written consignment agreement signed by both parties.
5. Consignment
If you choose consignment, the watch remains your property until it sells. The consignment agreement will cover commission, term, insurance during our possession, and how proceeds are remitted to you. You may withdraw the watch from consignment at any time subject to the terms of that agreement.
6. No guarantee of sale
We do not guarantee that any specific watch can be sold through consignment within a given timeframe or at a specific price. Market conditions change.
7. Intellectual property
Brand names (Rolex, Omega, Cartier, etc.) are trademarks of their respective owners and are used only to describe the watches we buy or sell. 6ixwatches is not affiliated with any watch manufacturer.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, 6ixwatches is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website or our services. Our liability for any claim related to a transaction is limited to the amount paid for the watch in question.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable federal laws of Canada. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of Ontario.
10. Changes
We may update these terms occasionally. The “Last updated” date above reflects the current version.
